UGH!

Why is this blog like a chore to me? I wish I could just stay on top of it more so that it would be easier to manage, but it seems like the more time passes, the longer I put off adding a new post. The last 3 months have been a blur with birthdays, holidays, vacations and just everyday life!

We truly are blessed and I guess the reason I can't just let the blog go completely is because I want to share our lives and blessings with those that care to read about them (mainly just my parents I think haha!)

Without futhter ramblings over whether to continue with this diary of sorts, here is what we have been up to for the past 3 months (the pictures speak for themselves so you should be able to correlate the picture with the event):

1. Syd had his first haircut and it went very well!
2. We went strawberry picking at Tanaka Farms
3. Taylor joined gymnastics, which is the first solo class she has taken (a huge step for her)
4. Easter came and went
5. Mommy's birthday came and went
6. Taylor's birthday came and went (ladybug theme party and dinner that night at the American Girl Store)
7. We took our first real vacation on 5 years and went to Hawaii!
8. Lea visited for one night (she was out here on business) and we had dinner at Mahe's
9. We went to Phoenix sans kids and saw No Doubt
10. Sydney's birthday came and went (we went to the LA Zoo and then had a pizza party at home)
11. Taylor finished her first year of preschool and although it took the entire school year, she did end up loving her school, teacher and classmates (after many tears)
12. Art's birthday came and went with a celebratory Poker Party
Of course a TON of other stuff happened in between these major events, including Grandma Evelyn's, Auntie Carrie's, Uncle John's birthdays, our 10 year anniversary, a gazillion kid's birthday parties, etc., etc. Oh and we finally received our garden plot at the Long Beach Community Gardens after 9 long months of waiting. It has been a labor of love and we are very proud at what we have been able to grow; 3 different varieties of tomatoes, cucumber, squash, zucchinni, pumpkins, lettuces, carrots, radishes, bell peppers, several herbs, melons (which are currently infested with aphids), eggplants and even corn! Our lives our full and so are our hearts.
no promises to do a better job keeping up on the blog, but I'll give it a go!
