Date Night

Upon hearing that Mommy and Daddy scored Jack Johnson tickets to the Hollywood Bowl for tonight, he squealed with delight and excitement.  Why?  Because he knew that a night of toddler-hood debauchery would ensue at Grandma and Grandpa's house, including El Pollo Loco for dinner, flaming hot Cheetos for a snack and rainbow sherbet ice cream for dessert.  And for the entertainment?  Cars and 101 Dalmations.  Oh yeah, tonight's gonna be a good, good night.

Thank goodness for date night.

p.s. I had a good Playgrounds & Lollipops post lined up for today, but my excitement over Jack Johnson sort of trumps fashion today.

  3. That's so funny! My boys get El Pollo when my parents babysit, too. They also get all the junk food they want full of colors, chemicals, and empty calories. They love every minute of it. :)

  14. El Pollo Loco. Heh. Reminds me of Jeff Lewis and Flipping Out. Do you watch? I think they eat EPL about six days a week for lunch!
