Playgrounds & Lollipops - Taking Chances

Denim Tunic: Gap; Skinny Khakis: J Crew; Shoes; Gap; Headband: J Crew;
Watch: Michael Kors; Earrings: Kate Spade; Bracelet: J Crew

I turned 34.5 yesterday.  Am I too old to be counting half birthdays?  I think not.  Certainly not when you're about to hit a milestone right?  So I was thinking about it, and I realized that in my old age, I am getting more and more willing to take some chances.  To not let my usual worrisome nature get the best of me.
Case in point: standing in the middle of a street to take pictures.  I'm trying to switch it up a bit because if I have to look at a picture of me standing in front of my house one more time I'm gonna go all Isaac Mizrahi on myself and lose it.
I've also noticed I've been getting a little riskier with my accessory choices.  Case in point: I'm wearing a bow in my hair, people.  Is that even acceptable to do once you hit 35?  If not, then I better get this bow wearing trend out of my system in the next 6 months.  Because it's all down hill once you hit 35 right?  Ah, crap.
I'm off to wallow in my own self pity and start a countdown to the dreaded date.  And damn straight I'll be doing it with a bow in my hair.

p.s. that last picture is a PSA for mopedding while texting.  DON'T DO IT!  Oprah will get pissed.

  4. Ahh age is really just a number in this generation. It's nothing like I remember growing up, my parents did actually seem like real older people if that makes sense. Lifestyle has changed dramatically in the past 20 years. What's it going to be like when our kids are 20? Ooooerrr....
