I love clothes that are functional and make me feel good. I love clothes that I can get spilled on and don't feel guilty about. And I don't like spending a ton of money on my clothes, but I do value quality in construction and design, so will splurge on key items like winter boots, a great fitting pair of jeans and the perfect white shirt. I believe a style is best when made approachable, clean and simple. And I believe that when a woman loves what she's wearing, it can go a long way towards a good day.
This is my little corner of the style blog world, where I highlight a favorite outfit of the week. An outfit that is child-proof, kid-tested and mother approved. I don't think I could effortlessly describe my fashion sensibility in a neat little capsule; except I do know it's fun and functional. Part feminine, and part masculine. Part quirky but mainly simple, my fashion style is a hodge-podge of many things and is ever-evolving. Either way though, a good outfit has the ability to make a bad day just a bit better.
